Celebrate the start of neighborhood baseball season at the Omega Delta Parade and Opening Day, starting at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2023, and centered around Hoyne Park, 3417 S. Hamilton Ave., Chicago.
Presented by the Omega Delta Youth Baseball & Softball League, the parade begins precisely at 10:15 a.m. at the parking lot of Target, 1940 W. 33rd St., Chicago. (Parade participants, including players, should arrive by 10 a.m.) The parade then winds through the northwest part of the McKinley Park neighborhood before ending at Hoyne Park at approximately 11 a.m. for ceremony, celebration, treats and baseball.
