Omega Delta Youth Baseball and Softball

Omega Delta Youth Baseball and Softball serves Chicago's McKinley Park and surrounding communities with seasonal baseball and softball team play, clinics, tournaments and events for young players ages 3 through 16. Our home field is Hoyne Park in the McKinley Park neighborhood.

Omega Delta Youth Baseball and Softball's goal is to provide a safe, organized, competitive and fun league for our kids. Since our founding in 2006, we've engaged thousands of local youth players and their families in league play, from the youngest T-ball players through competitive baseball and softball seasons for teen-agers. Our activities also include clinics, an annual citywide tournament and community events, including our annual parade and opening day celebration.

The league began as a program of Omega Delta National Fraternity: A number of members who had previously coached youth baseball for the shuttered Ralph E. Bermele Little League decided to bring youth ball playing back to the local community, and set up the Omega Delta Youth Development Program to do so.Their first baseball tournament in Hoyne Park in 2004 has been held every year since then, and the program has continued to grow with the addition of new teams and support for a wider range of player ages.
